Within the frameworks of the signed memorandum between Caucasus International University, Central Election Commission of Georgia and Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings, on 28-31 May, 2013 the university students will have a seminar on the topic: “Elections and Significance of Participation in Elections”.
Students attending the seminar will be awarded certificates.
Registered students are required to contact the corresponding Dean Offices in order to arrange the exact seminar time.

Otar Khachapuridze’s Achievement
On 21 May, 2013 at 10:00, within the frameworks of Universiade 2013 there was held Athletics competition at Borish Paichadze National Stadium.
Otar Khachapuridze, a student of the faculty of Business representing Caucasus International University, participated in the long jump competition. He became a winner and took first place.
We would like to congratulate Otar on his achievement and wish him further success.
Students’ Art Studio Exhibition
We are pleased to announce the upcoming CIU students’ Art Studio Exhibition which will be held on Monday, 27 May 2013, at 15:00, room 101. The Art Studio has been opened at our University several months ago.
Within the frameworks of the Studio students are specializing in drawing and graphic design together with icon painting. The exhibition will feature works representing the above mentioned directions.
The event will last for several days.
Agreement between Caucasus International University and Borjomi Palace Hotel
Caucasus International University and Borjomi Palace Hotel have signed a joint agreement.
Within the frameworks of the agreement both parties agreed to pursue close collaboration. Borjomi Palace Hotel undertakes to provide professional practice in the workplace for CIU students of the faculty of tourism, thus fostering students’ creative thinking, creating simulations of definite situations, familiarizing them with the specificity of work and allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
University students will be able to do internship in Borjomi Palace Hotel either in July or in August.
CIE Student’s Success
On 20 May, 2013 at 13:00, within the frameworks of “Students’ Days 2013”, Music Centre of Batumi hosted a modern music competition.
On behalf of Caucasus International University Tika Iremahsvili, a student of the specialty of journalism gave a performance for the attending audience. Later, she was named a winner and took the first place.
University gave a cash award to Tika Iremashvili.
CIU administration covered her supporters’ transportation and accommodation expanses.
We would like to congratulate Tika Iremashvili on her achievement and wish her further success!
